Harvest Service @ St John's
Sunday 18th October at 10.15am
Our Harvest collection this year will once again be in aid of the foodbank. During the period July 1st to October 7th 2026, Waterbeach Distribution (part of Ely Foodbank) supported 110 local people with emergency food parcels, 45 of whom were children.
If you felt able to donate, please consider non perishable food stuffs, (see list below) toiletries or pet food. These can either be brought to the Harvest Service on Sunday 18th, or left in the red foodbank box at the back of church any time before or after the 18th.
This year the Community Association are also encouraging their member groups to organise a collection on behalf of the foodbank within their membership. Thanks go out already to All Saints, Landbeach, the Salvation Army and Waterbeach Community Primary School for their generous Harvest donations, together with large donations from 1st Waterbeach Brownies and Waterbeach Community Playgroup.
Any cash or Wave and Pay donations made on the 18th will be sent directly to Ely Foodbank.
