Contemporary Service at St John's
Sunday 26th November at 7pm
The Contemporary Service is back! Sunday 26th November at 7pm in the Church Room, with the band. Sheridan Dyer, a Licensed Lay Minster from Warboys, will share his remarkable faith story. There will also be an opportunity to receive individual prayer ministry.
All Saints' Gala Dinner
Friday 1st December at 6.30pm
You are invited to a black tie Gala Dinner at All Saints' Church Landbeach.
Commencing at 6.30pm – to be greeted by a hand bell demonstration with canapés and sparkling wine and an opportunity to see the 'lighting up' of the Christmas Tree Festival and display of the two newly arrived additional bells. Followed by a chef prepared three-course meal with handpicked wines and wonderful company.
Tables of up to 6 available - £50 per head. Contact Jane Oakes on 07740 282387 to book your place, as soon as possible as places are limited.
Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints'
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December
Come along to All Saints' Christmas Tree Festival on the 2nd and 3rd of December. Adults pay £2.50 and U16s (accompanied by an adult) go free. Seasonal refreshments will be on sale.
At 6pm on Sunday 3rd there will be a 'Songs of Praise' style of service where we can sing cherished seasonal music and share Advent thoughts.
Sunday 10th December at 10.15am
Bishop Willie Pwa'isiho, a bishop from the Solomon Islands, who is Assistant Bishop of Chester, will be coming to us to preach on Sunday 10th December at the 10.15am service. More details on other events nearer the time.
Sunday 17th December (Rehearsal Sunday 10th December at 2pm)
There will be a rehearsal on Sunday 10th December at 2pm for children and young people with speaking, leading and acting parts. If your child or young person would like one of these, please let Kirsty Morris (email@example.com) know by 29th November, and please put the date of the rehearsal on your calendar! Like other years, children will be able to come dressed as a Nativity character (or a superhero this year!), and join in on the day.
St John's Carol Service
Sunday 17th December at 3pm
Please join us for our St John's Carol Service at 3pm on Sunday 17th December, followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
Explore Christmas and Christingle
Thursday 21st December from 3pm
Explore Christmas is from 3pm on Thursday 21st December, followed by Christingle at 4.30pm. We are looking for helpers to serve refreshments, steward and help with craft activities. Please let Kirsty Morris (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you are able to help with this.
